Presenter Steve Jones, known for hosting The X Factor in the US, is to front a new BBC Three series called Hair, which aims to showcase young amateur hair stylists who'll face three challenges each week, with one competitor leaving at the end of each show.

The series will be judged by Royal hairdresser Denise McAdam and international stylist Alain Pichon. Zai Bennett, Controller of BBC Three, says 'We're delighted to have Steve Jones at the helm', and described the judges as 'ridiculously qualified and experienced'.
